The Royal Artillery Championships

A new venue, a new year and another successful Championships.  This year the RAGS Captain moved the event from Frilford Heath to Belton Park GC, Grantham.  With the sun beating down and the course providing a good test of golf for players at all levels, the competition was as fierce as ever.  There were 48 players with plenty of new faces vying for the top spot in their relevant field.  The results were as follows:

The Royal Artillery Handicap Cup –                    Gnr Chris Keay                       143 (Nett)

The Spencer Smith Cup –                                       Bdr Lewis Blyth                       3 RHA

The High Handicap Stableford Competition –  WO2 Paul Wildish                   68 points

The ambition is to ensure next year is bigger and better.  18 June 2020 is the date, get it in the diary now!
