RAGS vs Walton Heath – 25 May 19

Result – Lost 6 1/2 – 5 1/2

This year was another closely fought match against Walton Heath in fine
weather and the course in great condition. 3-3 at lunch, it appears that
Walton Heath lunched well. It came down to the last hole of the last match
out on the course. Unfortunately, the half gained by John Milne and Clive
Hunt was not enough and Walton Heath won the day by a point. They therefore
take back the trophy presented by the Gunners during our tercentenary year.
As always a match played in a great spirit with Walton Heath putting out
this year’s and next year’s captain as well as several past captains.
