 Result:  RAGS 11½   – ½ RMGS

Following the heavy rain and high winds on Tue 6 Jun we were very pleased to see the sun come out on Wed, which led to a very enjoyable day at Tidworth Garrison GC.  Still windy, but the course was in excellent condition and although there were some soft patches on the fairway the greens were true and fast for some!

In the morning Pairs 4-Ball Better Ball we had a handsome win 4-0 and The Royal Marines were back out on the practice green after lunch with a dagger between their teeth.  Sadly, for the Marines there was to be no afternoon fight back.  It was not to be their day and following an 8-4 defeat last year, RAGS were happy winners and brought home the ‘Moorby Putter’.

Thank you to Tidworth GC who yet again put on a great day at excellent value and apologies to my team who yet again had to put up with my lastminute.com administrative arrangements – Tim, I promise to buck up!
