RAGS Spring Meeting 2018

The Spring Meeting was held at Tidworth Garrison Golf Club on Wed 25 Apr 18 under variable skies. A record (in recent times) turnout of 42 enjoyed good golf, excellent food and great company. Just over 50% of the players were from the serving community and it was encouraging to see a number of younger players, some attending for the first time. The results (1st and 2nd) are as follows:

Luckman Bowl (a scratch competition) – Kerry Roberts (71) and Jack Musgrove (74)
Harris Putter (Stableford Handicap) – Andrew Cox (39) and Rob Stiff (35)
Serving Cup (Stableford Handicap) – James Walsh (37) and Adam Greenfield (36)
Kent Salver (Stableford Handicap Foursomes) – Colin Welbourne & Dave Barbour (40) and Adam Greenfield and Jasper Vincent (38)
President’s Walking Stick (Stableford Handicap over 55) – Trev Parks (37) and Colin Welbourne (35)

About David Watson

Served very briefly on an SSLC with 25 Field Regiment RA in 1978. Now involved in two Marketing Companies and a Wine Business. Thoroughly enjoy playing with both AOGS and RAGS. Can often make myself available for matches even at short notice. Current captain of AOGS.
