RAGS Spring Meeting – 10 Apr 19

31 members of the Society turned out on a lovely day in Tidworth to compete in the Spring Meeting.  There was a 50/50 split between serving (16) and retired (15).  In the morning players competed for the following trophies; Luckman Bowl (18 holes, Scratch), Harris Putter (18 holes, Stableford, handicap), President’s Walking Stick (18 holes, Stableford, handicap, over 55’s), Serving Cup (18 holes, Stableford, handicap, serving) and the Patrons Prize (most golf).  Additionally 3 trophy’s are competed for with scores from the Spring and Autumn meetings combined.  These are; The Scratch Cup (36 holes, Scratch, under 13 handicap), Long Handicap Cup (36 holes, Stableford, handicap over 12), Harry Barron Cigarette Box (36 Holes, Stableford, handicap).  In the afternoon players play in pairs in a foursome format for the Kent Salver.  The results of a very enjoyable day are:
