Honours Boards

The Army Officer’s Golfing Society plays a number of matches against other golfing societies throughout the year. In addition, AOGS has a number of trophies that are competed for within the Society. These Honours Boards show the winners of the major trophies and prizes that the Members of the Society compete for at the Summer and Autumn Meeting.

The Summer Meeting has evolved from the main meeting of the Society and was at one time referred to as the Spring Meeting.? The changes in title merely reflect the normal dates on which the meeting takes place.? While the rules of each competition may have been varied over the years, the Society has endeavoured to retain the original intention of the prize.

The Retired Trophies are prizes that are no longer competed for reflecting the British Army’s historical presence throughout the world.
